I decided to do a "design" project for my second independent learning project. I created a Prezi on the topic of short stories. It is introductory material which I think would be beneficial in a middle school English classroom. I had never used Prezi myself before this assignment, though I had seen presentations given with it and I think that it provides a professional-looking, clean format to work with. The hardest part was figuring out how to format animation and how to add new elements to the template--it was a little different than using a presentation software like PowerPoint.
